3x5 foot daily drawings

An endurance project, the goal of completing a 3x5 foot drawing every studio day. Lasting from January to June of 2013. In addition each month the price would increase, during the active part of the project a January drawing sold for $100, Feb. for $200, a March for $300.

Red and Blue 3 by 5 foot drawing by Nicholas Dertien, the depict drawing is split to create on portrait and one square section. The right side portrait depicts a thin white line outlining ribs and neck with the head beneath water within the ribs a graphite drawn weed grows from the neck.
